Military Tensions Tehran – Tel Aviv; Iranian Leader: We Neither Delay Nor Rush
Bayan News – Amid the ongoing escalating tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv, Seyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, states that his country neither delays nor acts hastily in response to Israel’s crimes.
The leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran made these remarks on Friday (October 4) during the Friday prayer sermon held at the Grand Mosque of Tehran.
Khamenei said: “Every nation has the right to defend its territory against invaders. The Palestinian people also have the right to resist against the aggressor.”
The leader of the Islamic Republic asserted that aiding the Palestinians is legitimate, saying: “The Storm of Al-Aqsa was a correct and legal movement. The brave defense of the Lebanese for the Palestinians is also legal, reasonable, and legitimate.”
He further praised the missile attack by the Revolutionary Guard, calling it “a brilliant act of the armed forces.”
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in his Friday sermon, stated that the enemy of Iran and other Islamic countries is the same and that the “command room” is united, even if one country acts with “a two-ton bomb” and another with “psychological warfare.”
The Iranian leader emphasized: “The enemy of the Iranian nation is the same as the enemy of the Palestinian, Lebanese, Iraqi, Egyptian, and Syrian nations.”
He said that Muslim nations must confront their enemies first, but have been negligent for years.
Ayatollah Khamenei, in his remarks in Arabic addressed to the groups known as the “Axis of Resistance,” added: “The wicked enemy, since it cannot inflict serious damage on the organizations of Hezbollah and Hamas, considers assassination, destruction, and bombing as signs of its victory.”
He stated: “The result of this behavior is the accumulation of anger and the emergence of more leaders.”
In another part of his speech in Arabic, the leader of the Islamic Republic said: “The ruins will be repaired, and your patience and perseverance will bring honor and dignity.”
Praising Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, he said: “Hezbollah has grown step by step, patiently, logically, and naturally, showcasing its existence at various moments to confront the Zionist regime and its enemies.”
These remarks come at a time when the Islamic Republic recently attacked Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, with long-range missiles.
Israel has also warned that Tehran will pay the price for these attacks, but it remains unclear whether Israel will launch a counterattack.
