Taliban Prime Minister to EU Representative: We Have 40 Diplomatic Missions

Bayan News – Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, says that they currently hold 40 diplomatic missions in various countries around the world.

The Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs made these statements in a meeting with Ronnica Buzovic Pohar, the EU Chargé d’Affaires for Afghanistan.

In this meeting, which took place on Saturday (November 9), the EU representative in Kabul emphasized the continuation of humanitarian cooperation and expressed support for resolving Afghanistan’s current issues.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, referring to the Taliban’s expanding relations with the international community, stated that in addition to some embassies operating within Afghanistan, the Taliban now has 40 diplomatic missions abroad, and this number is increasing.

The Taliban official also requested the European Union’s support in areas such as development, counter-narcotics efforts, alternative crops, job creation, and the treatment of addicts in Afghanistan.
