Bayan News – The Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice of the Taliban has reported that its agents arrested a man and a woman on Monday (November 18) on charges of having an illicit relationship.
The ministry stated in a press release that the arrest took place in the fifth district of Kabul.
According to the ministry, after initial investigations, the two individuals were handed over to the Taliban’s judicial and legal authorities.
Taliban agents have previously reported the arrest of individuals in Kabul on charges of illicit relationships.
However, since the implementation of the new law on Promotion of Virtue, the frequency of arrests on various charges has intensified.
