Bayan News – Following reports about Ukraine using U.S. long-range missiles against Russian territory, Moscow has warned that it will respond appropriately and decisively.
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that an attack using U.S. weapons would constitute direct U.S. involvement in Ukraine’s war against Russia.
According to American media reports, President Joe Biden has, for the first time, authorized Ukraine to use U.S. long-range missiles for strikes deep within Russian territory.
Meanwhile, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Kremlin, declared that this move would exacerbate tensions and fuel international conflicts.
The Kremlin spokesperson warned yesterday that with this action, the U.S. is adding fuel to the fire of the war.
Peskov stated: “It is evident that the administration in Washington intends to pour fuel on the fire [of the war] and further escalate tensions surrounding this conflict.”
Additionally, besides the U.S., France also plans to allow the Ukrainian military to use French long-range weapons in the war against Russia. However, this decision has not yet been officially announced.
