The Acting Administrative Deputy of the Taliban Government Travels to Uzbekistan

Bayan News – Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Acting Administrative Deputy of the Taliban government, traveled to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on Saturday (November 30) at the head of a high-level delegation.

Hamidullah Fetrat, the Deputy Spokesperson of the Acting Government, wrote on the X platform that the trip was made at the invitation of Uzbek officials.

He further noted that the delegation from the current government of Kabul will discuss strengthening, enhancing, and developing political, social, economic, and cultural relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan during this visit.

The Deputy Spokesperson of the government added that this trip is expected to further develop bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, and significant achievements for the benefit of both countries are anticipated in various fields.

This is the second high-level delegation from the Taliban government to visit Uzbekistan. Last year, Mullah Abdul Kabir, the Acting Political Deputy of the Taliban government, also visited Uzbekistan, where he was warmly welcomed by Uzbek officials.
