Trump Threatens Hamas: Release Israeli Hostages Before My Arrival at the White House

Bayan News – Donald Trump, the U.S. President-elect, has warned Hamas that if Israeli hostages are not released before his inauguration, they should expect a severe and crushing response.

Trump stated on his social media platform, Truth Social, that the hostages are being held in inhumane and violent conditions. He emphasized that Hamas has until the new administration takes office to release them.

The President-elect warned that if the hostages are not freed, those responsible for the abduction will face consequences so severe that they will be unprecedented in the long history of the United States.

Trump is set to assume office on January 20 of the upcoming year.

His remarks refer to the approximately 100 hostages still held by Hamas, who are believed to be detained in Gaza.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a large-scale ground assault on Israel, killing 1,200 people and abducting 251 others, taking them as hostages to Gaza.
