Trump: If I Were in Power, There Would Be No Military Parade in Afghanistan With U.S. Equipment

Bayan News – Donald Trump, the U.S. President-elect, once again called the Biden administration’s foreign policy regarding Afghanistan “stupid” during a press conference on Monday (December 16).

Trump emphasized that if he had been in power, not even 10 cents worth of U.S. military equipment would have been left behind in Afghanistan for the Taliban to use in celebrations and military parades.

The U.S. President-elect said: “If they hadn’t carried out this disastrous act, you know we were leaving Afghanistan, but I would have done it with honor and strength. They (the Taliban) would not have held celebrations or parades, I assure you. They would not have showcased our equipment that was left there.”

Trump further stated: “Because we were not going to leave any equipment behind, not even 10 cents worth. We were going to take every bolt and nut with us.”

He also pointed out that the weakness of the Biden administration’s foreign policy led to Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Moreover, Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed during his election campaign that the Biden administration left behind $80 billion worth of military equipment in Afghanistan.
