Bayan News – Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed readiness for Moscow to normalize relations with Western countries, including the United States.
The TASS news agency reported on Sunday (December 22) that while the Russian president showed willingness, he emphasized that normalization should not come at the expense of Russia’s interests.
According to the report, President Putin stated: “Anything is possible if there is a will. We have never lost that will.”
He further added: “Everything changes in international relations, except for interests, which remain constant.”
It was previously reported that President Putin is open to discussions about a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine with Donald Trump, the U.S. president-elect.
However, despite this willingness to engage in talks, Moscow will not agree to any significant territorial concessions to Ukraine.
