Ministry of Defense of the Interim Government: Several Points Beyond the Imaginary Line Were Targeted

Bayan News – The Ministry of Defense of the interim government, referring to clashes between border forces and Pakistani troops, stated that several points beyond the imaginary line were attacked.

On Saturday morning (December 28), the ministry issued a brief statement explaining:

“Several points beyond the imaginary line, which were centers and hideouts of malicious elements and their supporters from where attacks in Afghanistan were planned and organized, were targeted as retaliation for the resilience of the southeastern region of the country.”

The ministry, however, did not provide further details.

Meanwhile, a source from the ministry told Tolo News that these clashes have been ongoing since last night, resulting in the death of 15 Pakistani soldiers.

The clashes between border forces and Pakistani troops occurred following attacks by the Pakistani military on border areas in the Paktika province and have continued for several hours.

It has also been reported that as a result of these clashes, many residents have been displaced from their homes in the freezing winter weather.
