Taliban’s Minister of Trade Visits Turkmenistan with a Delegation
Bayan News – Nuroddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Trade for the Taliban, has reportedly traveled to Turkmenistan on Friday, March 1st, leading a delegation.
It is said that the purpose of this delegation’s trip to Turkmenistan is to inaugurate the first “Turkmen-Afghan Trade Connectivity” conference, showcasing Afghan products and goods.
Additionally, the delegation will hold bilateral and multilateral meetings with the private sector of Turkmenistan, as well as government meetings, aimed at fostering economic relations, promoting trade, and transit development.
Turkmenistan has close economic ties with Afghanistan.
Furthermore, recently, Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Taliban, has traveled to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, upon the invitation of his Turkmen counterpart.
