Islamic Cooperation Organization: We continue constructive dialogues with the Taliban
Bayan News – The Secretary General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization states that the organization continues its interaction and constructive dialogues with the Taliban within the framework of a humanitarian approach.
Hussein Ibrahim Taha expressed these statements on Sunday (May 4th) during the 15th Summit of Heads of State of the Islamic Cooperation Organization in Gambia.
According to the Secretary General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, member countries of this organization will continue their humanitarian efforts for Afghanistan.
The Islamic Cooperation Organization provides assistance to the country through the “Humanitarian Assistance Fund for Afghanistan.”
However, the Islamic Cooperation Organization has sent delegations multiple times in the past two years for dialogues with the Taliban.
This organization has requested that the Taliban create a safe environment for the education of women and girls in Afghanistan.
