Migration crisis; Iranian official: All undocumented migrants must leave Iran
Bayan News – On Monday, August 12, Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, the commander of Iran’s border guards, called on all foreign citizens without documents to leave Iran by the end of the current year in a press conference.
He clearly expressed in this press conference that the policy of deporting undocumented migrants will be seriously implemented by the end of this year.
This is not the first Iranian official making such statements. Previously, the police commander of Tehran had also asked foreign nationals without documents to leave the country.
In addition, many officials of the Islamic Republic in various cities have warned guilds to refrain from hiring foreign nationals without documents.
Meanwhile, a video clip was released on social media and in the media last week showing Iranian law enforcement forces torturing a young migrant in front of his mother.
