Former Head of Pakistan’s Military Intelligence (ISI) Arrested
Bayan News – The Pakistan Army announced on Monday (August 12) that Faiz Hamid, the former head of the country’s military intelligence (ISI), has been arrested in connection with the residential project “Top City.”
The Pakistan Army also stated that, based on a ruling from the Supreme Court of the country, a detailed investigative court has been established by the army to examine the allegations against Faiz Hamid related to the “Top City” case.
According to the announcement from the Pakistan Army, several violations of the Pakistan Army’s laws have also been confirmed against him following his retirement.
This former intelligence official of Pakistan had traveled to Kabul in the early days of the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan, and his visit sparked national reactions in the country.
