Thousands of Israelis Protest Against Netanyahu for Accepting Hostage Exchange Agreement

Bayan News – Thousands of people in various cities across Israel protested on Saturday evening (September 17) against Netanyahu for accepting the hostage agreement with Hamas.

According to Al Arabiya, the demonstrators chanted slogans and held banners demanding the immediate signing of a prisoner and hostage exchange agreement between the Israeli government and the Hamas movement.

These widespread protests resumed in different cities in Israel, with demonstrators calling for an agreement to exchange with Palestinian groups for the release of hostages from Gaza.

According to Al Arabiya, over 400,000 people participated in the Tel Aviv demonstration.

On the other hand, the publication “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that thousands took part in protests on Saturday evening in several cities and regions of Israel, including Tel Aviv and Haifa (north), as well as the Karkur area near Haifa.

This Israeli newspaper added that the demonstrators, chanting slogans and holding banners, urged Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to swiftly sign an agreement for the exchange of prisoners with Palestinian groups in Gaza.

Israeli media reported that the Israeli security cabinet will meet today, Saturday (September 8), to discuss the hostage exchange agreement.
