Israel: Safe Exit for Yahya Sinwar Will Be Provided If Hostages Are Released
Bayan News – Gal Hirsch, Israel’s envoy for the release of hostages, has offered Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, that in exchange for the release of hostages, arrangements will be made for his safe exit from the Gaza Strip.
The Jerusalem Post reported on Tuesday (September 10), citing Bloomberg, that Hirsch told Sinwar that if 101 Israeli hostages are freed and control of the Gaza Strip is surrendered, arrangements will be made for him and his family to exit safely.
He stated: “I am prepared to arrange a safe passage for Sinwar, his family, and anyone else who exits from the Gaza Strip with them.”
According to the report, the proposal for Sinwar’s exit from Gaza was made two days ago, but Hamas has not yet responded.
Hirsch explained that this proposal is aimed at developing solutions for a new deal, as the negotiations currently seem unclear.
It is worth noting that Hamas periodically threatens to execute hostages following Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
