Bayan News – Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, stated that Israel, under the pretext of self-defense, has led the people of Gaza to genocide and bloodshed.
The Iranian president made these remarks on Wednesday (September 11) during his visit to Iraq. Pezeshkian traveled to Iraq for the first time as the president of the country.
Pezeshkian added, “When a small incident occurs in our country, all the media in the world follow it and question human rights in Iran; however, the world that claims to defend human rights has closed its eyes and ears to all these crimes of Israel.”
Pezeshkian considers the lack of unity and cohesion among the Islamic world to be one of the reasons for Israel’s “crimes” in Gaza.
The president of Iran, referring to the U.S. sanctions against the country, stated that they will overcome this problem through unity, cohesion, and adherence to religious teachings.
Pezeshkian also signed 14 cooperation agreements in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and social affairs with the Prime Minister of Iraq during this visit.
