The Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran is Reviewing the Afghan Migrant Organization Plan

Bayan News – Iranian media, citing the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, reported that the plan to organize Afghan migrants will be reviewed in the near future.

He added to the IRIB news agency that the Islamic Council is sensitive to this plan and will examine it very carefully.

Ebrahim Azizi, the head of the National Security Commission, stated on Saturday (September 14): “Hospitality has its limits; irregular migrants must cooperate in the new security plans for leaving the country, and any negligence regarding the expulsion of irregular foreign nationals will be considered an omission and will be addressed.”

According to him, this plan will grant appropriate powers to the relevant institutions of the Islamic Republic after passing through parliamentary stages.

However, Iranian officials had previously stated that by the end of this year, approximately one million irregular foreign nationals will be expelled from the country.
