Explosion of Hezbollah’s “pagers” in Lebanon; more than a thousand injured, including the Iranian ambassador
Bayan News – International media have reported that a massive explosion of pager devices used by Hezbollah members has resulted in over a thousand people being injured.
It is said that Hezbollah members in Lebanon used these pagers for communication. According to published reports, the devices began exploding around 3:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday (September 17) and continued for about an hour.
Additionally, Iranian media have reported that the Iranian ambassador was injured in the explosions, but the Islamic Republic has not yet made an official statement.
It is still unclear how these devices exploded. Some media outlets claim that the Israeli military is behind the explosions, but the Israeli army has not commented so far.
However, tensions and clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon have recently increased, and in the past two months, there have been several confrontations.
