Bayan News – Local sources in Herat province report that nine members of a family have lost their lives following a traffic accident in the Zawal district of the province.
According to local sources, the accident occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday (September 18) in the “Khaja Ruya” area of Zawal district, Herat province.
Local reports indicate that a Passo vehicle collided with a 580 passenger vehicle.
It is said that women and children were among the victims of the accident.
Local officials in Herat province have not commented on the incident.
It is worth noting that traffic accidents have increased in recent months across several provinces of Afghanistan, with drug use and driver negligence cited as major factors in these incidents.
