Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon: 500 Reported Dead
Bayan News – International media have reported that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes in northern and southern Lebanon has risen to nearly 500 people.
According to a report by The Guardian, published on Monday (September 23), at least 1,650 others have also been injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes.
The Guardian states that this figure is not final and may increase.
The report mentions that women and children are among the victims.
Rescue teams have been dispatched to the area to rescue people trapped under the rubble, according to the report.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army has announced that it has targeted Hezbollah’s 20-year-old military infrastructure.
However, Hezbollah has noted that these attacks have hit three of its military bases.
Additionally, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has urged the people of Lebanon not to allow Hezbollah to cause casualties among the country’s civilians.
The Israeli Prime Minister also stated that he would continue his attacks on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon.
