Israeli Army Reports the Death of Hassan Nasrallah

Bayan News – On Saturday (September 28), the Israeli army announced the death of Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

According to a statement from the Israeli army, the Hezbollah leader was killed in airstrikes on the group’s central headquarters in Beirut the previous day.

In a post on the X platform, the Israeli army stated, “Hassan Nasrallah can no longer terrorize the world.”

However, Hezbollah has not yet issued any statement regarding Nasrallah’s health status.

Israel claims it bombed Hezbollah’s central headquarters in southern Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on Friday.

On Saturday, Israel also launched airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and other areas in Lebanon.

Reuters reporters heard over 20 airstrikes in Beirut before dawn on Saturday, with most occurring after sunrise. Smoke was seen rising over the southern suburbs of the city, an area controlled by Hezbollah, known as Dahiya.

Lebanese health officials confirmed six deaths and 91 injuries in Friday’s initial attack.

No information has been released about casualties from subsequent strikes.

According to published reports, more than 700 people have been killed in last week’s attacks in Lebanon.
