Karzai Calls Yesterday’s Kabul Explosion a Terrorist Act
Bayan News – Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, condemned yesterday’s explosion in the Pamir Cinema area, part of Kabul’s District 1, and called it a “terrorist act.”
On Thursday morning (October 24), Karzai reacted to the incident and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
Around 11 people were injured in the explosion, including women and children.
Kabul’s Emergency Hospital reported that among the injured were a three-year-old girl, a four-year-old boy, two women, and seven men, with one of them in critical condition.
So far, Taliban security officials have not commented on the incident.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
