Iranian President: We Will Give an Appropriate Response to Israel’s Attack

Bayan News – Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, referring to Israel’s recent attack on Iranian territory, stated that Tehran will give an “appropriate response.”

According to Iranian media, Pezeshkian made these remarks on Sunday evening (October 27) during a cabinet meeting, adding, “We do not seek war, but we will defend the rights of our nation and country; we will respond appropriately to the aggression of the Zionist regime.”

Pezeshkian added, “If the Zionist regime’s aggressions and crimes continue, tensions will escalate, and we know that America incites Israel to commit these atrocities. They had promised to end the war if we showed restraint, but they did not keep their word.”

Previously, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that, based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, the country considers itself entitled and obligated to defend itself against any “foreign aggression.”

Two days ago, the Israeli military launched attacks with dozens of fighter jets on military targets in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam.
