Bayan News – International media have reported that the family of Bashar al-Assad has left Syria and sought refuge in Russia.
The Wall Street Journal, citing Syrian and Arab security officials, has reported that Bashar al-Assad remains in Damascus, but his family left the country last week.
It has also been reported that Assad’s brother’s family has moved to the United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, armed opposition forces against Bashar al-Assad’s government have announced that they will reach the gates of Damascus, the Syrian capital, within the next two days.
