Netanyahu to Be Tried on Corruption and Fraud Charges
Bayan News – International media outlets have reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, will appear in court for the first time in a corruption case.
According to reports, an Israeli court has ordered Netanyahu to attend sessions three times a week to respond to charges of “bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.”
he Israeli Prime Minister is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, December 10.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu stated at a press conference two days ago that the judicial process and investigations into corruption cases against him are politically motivated.
In 2019, Netanyahu was accused in three corruption cases, including accepting gifts from wealthy friends and assisting media investors in exchange for favorable news coverage.
The trials were initially set to proceed last year but were postponed due to the war in Gaza and conflicts with Lebanon.
