Two Fatal Traffic Accidents on the Kabul-Kandahar Highway; 50 Dead
Bayan News – Following two traffic accidents on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, at least 50 people have lost their lives.
Sources in Ghazni province reported that these two accidents occurred on Wednesday night (December 18) at a distance of 15 kilometers apart in Ghazni province.
According to the information from the sources, the accidents involved two passenger buses of type 580, a trailer, and a gas tanker.
Based on the statements of the sources, at least 50 people have died, and 15 others were injured in these two traffic accidents.
However, it is said that the number of casualties from these traffic incidents may rise.
Local government officials in Zabul province have confirmed these two fatal accidents.
So far, the cause of these two incidents remains unclear.
It is worth noting that driver negligence, drug use, and poor road conditions are considered major factors contributing to traffic accidents in Afghanistan.
