Bayan News – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestine Refugees has announced that every hour, a child is killed in the Gaza Strip.
On Tuesday (December 24), UNRWA reported on Platform X that since the beginning of the Israeli offensive, over 14,500 children have been killed in Gaza.
The UN agency stated that the killing of children in the Gaza war can never be justified.
According to the organization, children who have survived have also suffered physical and psychological harm.
Earlier, findings from a joint study conducted by several international institutions revealed that 96% of children in this region feel their death is imminent.
The study, conducted with 500 children in Gaza, found that 46% of them wish for death due to the physical and psychological trauma they have endured.
