Following the close relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, international media have reported that the foreign ministers of the two countries will meet tomorrow, Thursday (April 6) in Beijing, the capital of China.
A senior official of the Iranian government has confirmed this news to the Reuters news agency.
This Iranian official said, “Since China has facilitated the resumption of relations between the two countries, the senior diplomatic representatives of the two countries have agreed to meet in Beijing on April 6.”
The senior officials of Riyadh have also confirmed the meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries in China.
However, an agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia to reduce tensions and prevent interference in each other’s affairs was made at the beginning of this month.
This agreement and the reduction of tensions between the two countries have been the result of the efforts of the Chinese government.
After the implementation of the agreement between the two countries, the foreign ministers of the two countries have made several phone calls.
