Playing music in Kabul wedding halls was banned
Bayan news
The Ministry of Public Affairs of the caretaker government of Kabul has recently banned the playing of music in wedding halls in Kabul city.
On Sunday (June 11), this ministry held a meeting with the officials of wedding halls in Kabul and asked them to refrain from playing music and activities that are against Islamic Sharia.
In the newsletter of this ministry, it is stated that the participants of the wedding ceremonies should participate in the Ja’at prayer first, and implement the principles and rules determined by the Ministry of Public Affairs.
The prohibition of playing music in happy ceremonies is not a new thing, but it was also banned in the provinces of Afghanistan with the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate.
The ruling government of Kabul prohibits playing and listening to music among the people.
