First High-Level Delegation of the Kabul Interim Government Makes Trip to Turkey

Bayan News – Following the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the first high-level delegation of the Kabul Interim Government has embarked on a trip to Turkey to participate in an economic conference and attract investments.

The Press Office of the Economic Deputy of the Government’s Presidency stated in a newsletter that Mullah Baradar is leading this delegation, and they departed for Turkey on Wednesday (August 8).

The Economic Deputy added that alongside meetings with Turkish officials and Afghan investors residing in the country, this delegation will participate in a major conference aimed at attracting investments.

Turkey is considered one of the close partner countries of the Kabul Interim Government, and its ambassador maintains an active presence in Kabul.
