Turkish Soldiers Rape Afghan Woman
Bayan News – It has been reported that two Turkish soldiers raped an Afghan woman in the province of Van, eastern Turkey, on the second day of January this year.
According to a report by the Turkish section of Voice of America, the Afghan woman was assaulted when she was being returned to Iran on the second of January this year.
According to the report, the Van Court in Turkey has recognized these soldiers as criminals and sentenced each of them to 32 and 37 years in prison.
The accused soldiers claimed in court that the sexual relationship was consensual, but the Afghan woman denied it in court.
It should be noted that most Afghan citizens enter Turkey through illegal smuggling routes, aiming to reach Europe by land and then heading towards Greece.
However, in recent years, the rate of illegal migration by Afghan citizens has increased, and many of them face violent behavior by border guards in countries such as Iran and Turkey.
