Mujahid’s Reaction to the Special Session of the Security Council: The United Nations is Being Used Against Us

Bayan News – Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, in response to the special session of the United Nations Security Council held in New York yesterday evening, stated that the session did not pay any attention to the achievements of the Islamic Emirate.

Mr. Mujahid wrote today, Thursday (September 27), on the X network: “Discussions and opinions at the United Nations have been diverted by two minor and internal issues (women’s education and work). National security in Afghanistan, general amnesty, peace and stability, economic progress, formation of security forces, budget preparation from domestic revenues, development of the educational process throughout the country, and dozens of other advancements were not discussed and given importance.”

The spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate further wrote that once again, emphasis was placed on the policy of pressure and imposition, which shows that malicious circles are still against us in the war, and the United Nations is both part of that group and being used against the Islamic Emirate.

Permanent representatives of countries in the special session of the United Nations Security Council expressed strong concerns about the plight of women and girls in Afghanistan and urged the authorities of the Kabul interim government to reconsider the restrictions imposed on them.
