More than 30 journalists have lost their lives in the clashes between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip
Bayan News – International organizations have reported that after the clashes between the Israeli army and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, 31 journalists have been killed.
The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) stated in a statement today, Tuesday, October 31, that the fatalities include 26 Palestinians, 4 Israelis, and one journalist from Lebanon.
The statement by the organization also mentioned that around eight other journalists are either injured or imprisoned.
According to the CPJ, journalists inside the Gaza Strip face greater threats than in any other areas because the Israeli army continuously targets the Gaza Strip from the ground and air.
However, a few days ago, the committee had also reported that fewer than ten journalists had been killed or injured during the clashes between the two sides.
Nevertheless, the Israeli army has informed Reuters and AFP news agencies that they are unable to guarantee the safety of journalists from these two media outlets inside the Gaza Strip.
