Muttaqi: Enemies Lurk to Destroy Afghanistan
Bayan News – Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, stated during the ceremony commemorating the 44th anniversary of the former Soviet invasion that the enemies lurk to destroy Afghanistan and should not be underestimated.
In the sixth serious year of 1358, over 50,000 former Soviet soldiers entered Afghanistan with advanced military equipment and facilities. The former Soviet Union entered Afghanistan when Hafizullah Amin was the president, and with his assassination, Babrak Karmal came to power.
On this occasion, officials of the Islamic Emirate, in a ceremony held today, Thursday (December 27), in Kabul, stated that the enemies are still trying to destroy this country once again.
The Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, in his remarks, emphasizes that the enemies of the country should never be underestimated.
He stressed the importance of raising awareness among the young generation of this country, given the conditions in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the head of the Kabul government, considered the developments of the past two years important for the people of Afghanistan and stated that the leader of the Islamic Emirate forgave and considered everyone as brothers.
Hanafi said, “In our conversations, American officials used to tell us that if you become rulers in Afghanistan, it will become a bloodbath there, but the leader of the Islamic Emirate forgave and considered as brothers all those who had political opposition to the Islamic Emirate.”
The Deputy Head of the Cabinet also reiterated that all individuals who had political opposition to us in the past have equal rights with other Afghans, and the Islamic Emirate does not seek revenge against them.
He further emphasized that after the Islamic Emirate’s takeover of the country, Afghanistan is moving towards progress.
