U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in a message on The International Day against Islamophobia that there must be a fight against divisive forces.
Today, Wednesday (March 15th) coincides with The International Day against Islamophobia, so the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in a message, called for the fight against the forces of division.
“Let us fight the forces that divide us by reaffirming our common humanity,” Guterres’ message said.
“Let’s always stand in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters,” he added.
In 2022, the United Nations approved a resolution calling March 15 as International Day against Islamophobia.
The ratification was adopted with the approval of representatives of 193 predominantly Muslim countries.
