UN Security Council: Terrorism is the most serious threat to Afghan peace and the world

Two days after the suicide attack near the Foreign Ministry, the UN Security Council condemned the attack and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
The UN Security Council statement said that terrorism in all its forms and appearances is one of the most serious threats to the peace and security of Afghanistan and the world.
Members of the council said in the statement that any act of terrorism, regardless of its motive, anywhere, anytime, by anyone who committed it was criminal and would not be justified.
Over the past few months, foreign ministry employees of the Islamic Emirate have been attacked by suicide bombers on their way out.
Two days ago, a number of Foreign Ministry employees were killed in a suicide attack claimed by Daesh.
