More than 60 Pakistanis were killed and injured in two suicide attacks

Pakistani media have reported that 12 people died and more than 50 others were injured following two suicide attacks on a counter-terrorism police station in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of this country.

According to the Express Tribune newspaper, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police said that these suicide attacks took place at 8:30 pm last night Pakistan time in the Kebel area of Swat of this province.

According to the police of this state, the attackers shot first and during the armed clashes, one of the attackers blew himself up.

According to the police officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the second explosion occurred a short distance away and the power of the explosion was such that residential houses were destroyed up to a distance of two kilometers.

Meanwhile, the building of the police station has been completely destroyed by these explosions, and at the same time, the situation in Saidu Sharif Hospital, where the injured were transferred, has been declared an emergency.

So far, no group has taken responsibility for this event.

However, over the past two years, the level of armed violence between the Pakistani government and the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) has increased.
