The educational activities of foreign institutions were banned in the northern provinces of Afghanistan

Bayan news

In a new order, the caretaker government of Kabul has banned the educational activities of foreign institutions throughout Afghanistan.

Some employees of Aktid Institute and Child Protection Organization in Faryab and Sarpol provinces have confirmed to the media that the educational activities of these institutions have been stopped in Sarpol and Faryab provinces.

The reason for this ban has not yet been determined.

It is said that the educational activities of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) are exempted from this order.

Meanwhile, sources from the acting government of Kabul have said about the educational activities of domestic institutions that these institutions must accept the conditions of the Ministry of Education.

However, after issuing the decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate prohibiting the education of girls above the sixth grade, domestic and international institutions still played a role in the education of girls.
