Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Acting Minister of Interior of the caretaker government of Kabul, who recently went to the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, asked the officials of this province to behave well with the people.
The ministry added in a newsletter that Haqqani traveled to Mazar-e-Sharif earlier this week and met with local officials, religious scholars and ethnic elders.
In the newsletter of the Ministry of Interior, Haqqani is quoted as saying that the local officials of Balkh should behave well with the people and take care of their administrative work in a timely manner.
According to Haqqani, the local officials of Balkh have promised that they will make no effort to provide better services and facilities for the people.
It is said that the Acting Minister of Interior of the acting Kabul government has also visited Baghlan province.
