Sekat Samit, head of UNAMA’s political department, says that Taliban officials will be invited to participate in the next UN meeting, which will be held before the end of 2023.

The head of UNAMA’s political department, who met with the Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday (July 5), assured the continuation of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan and also expressed his satisfaction that security has been ensured in this country and valuable work has been done to strengthen the economy.

Samit also noted that he is working to create understanding between Afghanistan and the world and to reduce the distance and continues his activities.

At the same time, he makes these statements that with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the international community’s attention towards Afghanistan has decreased due to the bans against women and girls.
