Jake Sullivan, the National Security Advisor to the President of the United States, says that the United States is trying to hold the caretaker government in Kabul accountable for its commitment to fighting terrorism according to the Doha Agreement.

He made these remarks during his visit to Britain and added that Washington wants to ensure that the caretaker government in Kabul does not allow Afghanistan to become a safe haven for terrorism.

Sullivan told reporters, “What I can say is that we hold the Taliban to their commitments in the Doha Agreement. Afghanistan cannot be used as a safe haven for designing terrorist attacks against any country, especially the United States, our allies, and partners.”

However, recently, the President of the United States also revealed the cooperation of the caretaker government in Kabul with the United States in suppressing the Al-Qaeda network in Afghanistan.

According to the Doha Agreement, the Islamic Emirate has pledged not to allow any terrorist group to operate in Afghanistan, and also not to allow the soil of this country to be used against any country.
