City Park in Kabul to be Transformed into a Major Commercial Center

Bayan News – In the latest economic move by the interim government in Kabul, City Park is set to be transformed into a major commercial center with a cost of 1.2 billion Afghanis.

The reconstruction of the park was inaugurated yesterday by the Deputy Ministry of Economy, and it is planned to be primarily renovated by the private sector.

According to the newsletter of the Deputy Ministry of Economy, based on the reconstruction plan, an underground commercial center, a specialized women’s trading center, a futsal field, restaurants, a mosque, a water park, and recreational areas will be established.

The City Park, which covers an area of 9.9 hectares, will undergo three years of reconstruction and the establishment of commercial facilities within it.
