Expulsion of 60,000 Afghan Migrants from Pakistan
Bayan News – Pakistani media has reported that Islamabad has expelled approximately 60,000 Afghan migrants from the country in the past month.
According to a report by Radio Pakistan, after setting a one-month deadline for the departure of illegal migrants from the country, 59,561 Afghan migrants have returned to their country.
Pakistani media continues to report that the expulsion of illegal migrants from Pakistan will bring about a positive change in the region.
It is said that Pakistani border forces are actively engaged at the border of the two countries to facilitate the safe return of Afghan citizens.
However, Pakistan’s decision to expel Afghan migrants and refugees has faced criticism from human rights organizations.
International organizations have urged the government of Islamabad to halt the forced expulsion of Afghan migrants, as it puts their lives at risk.
