Breaking News: Eyewitnesses have informed Bayan News reporters that around 7:30 PM on Friday night (October 26), the Maiwand Sports Club at the Dasht-e-Barchi bakery station in west Kabul was targeted in a suicide attack.
A Bayan News reporter went to the scene to cover the event and interviewed eyewitnesses.
The reporter’s observation indicates that the Maiwand Sports Club, located on the third floor of a market at the Maiwand bakery station, has been completely destroyed.
Although Kabul security officials have not provided any information about the incident, according to eyewitnesses, the explosion was of a suicide attack nature.
Based on the observations of the Bayan News reporter, ambulances were transporting the wounded to hospitals, and additional injured individuals were being transferred by private vehicles.
Eyewitnesses have stated that this event has resulted in casualties, as a significant number of athletes were present in this sports club.
The exact number of casualties has not been reported yet.
Eyewitnesses have mentioned that there were over 50 people present in this sports club.
