Trump’s Focus on Bagram Airfield after Entering the White House

Bayan News – Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, says that if he wins the 2024 presidential election, he will take charge of managing Bagram Airfield in coordination with the Islamic Emirate (Taliban).

He made these remarks in an interview with the British newspaper Daily Mail, adding that the goal of the United States’ return to Afghanistan would be under the supervision of China.

Bagram Military Base, which was built by the former Soviet Union in the 1950s, was transformed by the United States in 2001 with the overthrow of the previous Islamic Emirate government, into the largest military base.

Over the past twenty years, all US and NATO command operations against the Islamic Emirate have been conducted from Bagram Airfield, increasing its capacity to accommodate 10,000 troops.

Bagram Airfield came under the control of the Islamic Emirate forces after the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan.
