Two Shia religious scholars were assassinated by armed individuals in Herat city

Bayan News – According to local sources in Herat province, two Shia religious scholars were killed this afternoon, Friday (November 23), by unidentified armed individuals.

The source told Bayan News that these two religious scholars were killed by two armed individuals on a motorcycle in the Tawhid area of the 13th district of Herat city.

The source mentioned the names of these two religious scholars as Khadem Hussain Hedayati and Rajab Akhlaqi, and according to him, they were from Lal Sari-jangal district of Ghor province.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for this event, and Herat security officials have not provided any information.

A few months ago, another Shia religious scholar was assassinated in Herat city.
