Mawlawi Abdul Kabir to Fazlur Rahman: Convey our Clear Message to Pakistan that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against anyone
Bayan News – Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Political Chief of the Taliban, stated in a meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rahman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party in Pakistan, that he should convey the clear message of the Islamic Emirate to Islamabad, which does not allow Afghanistan’s soil to be used against anyone else.
The leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party arrived in Kabul on Monday (January 7th) leading a delegation and met with senior Taliban officials, including Mawlawi Abdul Kabir and the Foreign Minister.
According to a newsletter from the Deputy Political Chief of the Taliban’s office, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir expressed hope that Fazlur Rahman’s visit to Kabul would strengthen relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan and effectively reduce misunderstandings.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir stated that the Islamic Emirate seeks good and stable relations with Pakistan based on mutual respect. He assured that Afghanistan’s soil will not pose any threat or danger to anyone, and it is better to discuss the realities instead of media claims and propaganda.
He further expressed hope that Maulana Fazlur Rahman would convey the clear message of the Islamic Emirate to Islamabad, emphasizing that the current Afghan government seeks security and stability in the region and does not allow Afghanistan’s soil to be used against anyone else.
On the other hand, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party in Pakistan, in this meeting, referred to tensions between Kabul and Islamabad and added that the two Islamic countries have commonalities and should resolve their issues through dialogue. “We should create platforms for cooperation and collaborate with each other for our mutual benefit,” he said.
Fazlur Rahman emphasized that the forced expulsion of Afghans by the Pakistani government is condemned by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party in Pakistan.
According to Fazlur Rahman, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party in Pakistan will strive to repair relations and resolve issues between the two countries.

The Pakistani government claims that the Pakistani Taliban movement has challenged Pakistan’s security by using Afghanistan’s soil, an allegation that has consistently been rejected by the caretaker government in Kabul.
