Bayan News – Following the killing of five Iranian military advisors in a Israeli airstrike in Damascus, Syria, the President of Iran has warned that this Israeli attack will not go unanswered.
Raisi, in a statement on Sunday, January 20, described this Israeli action as terrorist and criminal, and added that it will not go unanswered by the Islamic Republic.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has confirmed that four military advisors from Iran were killed as a result of the Israeli attack on a residential building in Damascus.
Military tensions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel have escalated in the region, and they have engaged in a proxy war in countries such as Iraq and Syria.
The IRGC of Iran claimed to have targeted an Israeli spy ring in missile attacks in Erbil, Iraq.
