More than 100 Palestinian casualties shock EU foreign policy chief
Bayan News – Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, says that the barrage of Israeli army fire that killed over 100 Palestinians has shocked him.
On Saturday (March 1st), Borrell wrote on his Twitter platform that the killing of those awaiting humanitarian aid is unforgivable and a crime against humanity.
He emphasized that obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law, and the international community must take note of this.
The EU foreign policy chief also underscored the need to ensure access to humanitarian aid for the people of Palestine.
Two days ago, while thousands of people in northern Gaza were awaiting humanitarian assistance, they came under attack by the Israeli army.
This incident occurred when the Israeli army granted permission for trucks carrying food supplies to enter the residents of northern Gaza and opened fire as people gathered around them.
This action by the Israeli army has sparked anger within the international community.
