Bayan News – Local sources reported this morning, Monday, March 17th, that a tragic traffic accident on the Kandahar-Helmand highway has resulted in 21 fatalities and 11 injuries.
According to the sources, the incident occurred on the road in the Girishk district of Helmand province.
Based on images circulated on social media, a passenger bus of type 580 collided with a fuel tanker.
It is said that the passenger bus caught fire, and its occupants were completely burned.
In recent years, there has been an increase in traffic accidents causing significant casualties.
Reckless driving and drug use are cited as contributing factors to these traffic incidents.
